Job description

Build More Than Projects. Build a Business.

At L2 Construction, we don't just renovate healthcare facilitiesโ€”we solve some of the most complex construction challenges in occupied environments where patient care never stops. Our clients trust us because we understand that every project impacts patients, caregivers, and the communities they serve.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Project Executive to help lead our next chapter. This is more than an operations roleโ€”it's an opportunity to influence company strategy, develop future leaders, strengthen client partnerships, and help shape one of the Mid-Atlantic's premier healthcare construction firms.

If you enjoy building high-performing teams as much as building exceptional projects, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll DoLead the Business
  • Partner with the President and executive leadership to execute the company's strategic plan and drive profitable growth.
  • Develop and expand relationships with healthcare clients, architects, engineers, and industry partners.
  • Help secure new work while strengthening long-term partnerships with existing clients.
Lead People
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and their teams.
  • Develop talent through performance coaching, succession planning, and professional development.
  • Build an engaged, accountable, and collaborative project management organization.
Lead Operations
  • Oversee multiple healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Monitor project financial performance, schedules, staffing, quality, safety, and client satisfaction across multiple teams.
  • Review contracts, budgets, estimates, and project strategies to ensure consistent execution and profitability.
Drive Continuous Improvement
  • Improve operational processes, project delivery, and business performance.
  • Support recruiting, workforce planning, and strategic staffing initiatives.
  • Foster innovation while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence.
What We're Looking For
  • 8-10 years of progressive construction experience, including at least 7 years managing complex healthcare construction projects.
  • Proven success leading multiple project teams while delivering profitable projects and exceptional client experiences.
  • Strong business development skills with a track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Extensive knowledge of estimating, project management, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and financial management.
  • Expertise in AIA contracts, GMP delivery methods, subcontractor negotiations, and construction operations.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, and other construction management software.
  • Certifications such as ASHE CHC, OSHA 30, PMP, or LEED AP are highly valued.
  • A collaborative, strategic leader who develops people, builds trust, and inspires high-performing teams.
Why L2 Construction?

At L2, you'll have the opportunity to make an impact far beyond individual projects. You'll help shape company strategy, mentor the next generation of construction leaders, strengthen long-standing client relationships, and play a key role in the continued growth of our healthcare construction practice.

We're intentionally building a company where exceptional people can do the best work of their careers.
