About the Position

The company is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow a high-performing sales organization across Southern and Central California. This role oversees more than 20 Rental Sales Representatives across 9 locations, from Fresno to Indio.

The Regional Sales Manager will set the strategic direction for the territory, elevate sales performance, and drive profitability while delivering an unmatched customer experience. This is a pivotal leadership opportunity for a seasoned rental industry professional ready to shape a region, inspire a winning team, and build on momentum during an exciting growth period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop & Execute Strategy: Build and implement impactful sales strategies to expand market share, accelerate growth, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Lead & Inspire: Coach, mentor, and motivate a team of 20+ rental sales representatives through performance management, ride-alongs, and structured development programs.
  • Drive Performance: Monitor key sales metrics, champion CRM adoption, enforce accountability, and cultivate a results-driven culture.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with marketing, operations, and other divisions to maximize opportunities and deliver cohesive customer value.
  • Market Expertise: Use industry data and analytics to identify trends, guide rental fleet planning, and ensure competitive positioning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience in the heavy equipment rental industry.
  • Demonstrated success leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong knowledge of construction equipment and rental market dynamics.
  • Must reside within commuting distance of the Los Angeles/Inland Empire region.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the territory, including occasional overnight travel (up to 25%).
