Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Manager Facilities Engineering. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the facilities operations as the Facilities Site Leader at our Clearfield Utah Location, with additional responsibility over our remote sites in Magna Utah and Logan Utah. The position will be located onsite in Clearfield, Utah

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all Facilities related activities including Maintenance operations on a 24/7 basis, Facility Engineering, Construction & Project Management

  • Develop and manage facility operating budgets, cost pools, capital expenditures, and staff

  • Create and implement strategic facility plans to maximize resources and achieve cost-effective operations

  • Establish and maintain service level agreements; manage and report on space utilization and occupancy

  • Collaborate with campus facility management, site senior management, and business development leadership to address site requirements

  • Work with Maintenance, Facility Engineering, Planning, and Business Management support teams to prioritize future facility and user projects for capital and indirect funding

  • Coordinate with Business Management on capital and indirect reviews and annual project budget distributions

  • Execute projects in collaboration with facility engineering teams

  • Present building modification options for management, including recommendations for alternatives

  • Coordinate staff duties, responsibilities, projects, schedules, and budgets through regular meetings

  • Participate in technical design reviews and facilitate vendor support to ensure long-term maintainability and common equipment recommendations

  • Prepare and present status reports to management and site management.

  • Maintain facility appearance and ensure compliance with EH&S and OSHA regulations

  • Oversee a robust preventive maintenance program using the existing Maximo Work Order System, maintain output metrics, and manage vendor purchase orders

  • Aim for minimal operational interruptions with a goal of zero downtime.

  • Ensure compliance with space utilization policies and collaborate on sector and corporate metric development

  • Develop and implement business resumption and emergency preparedness plans

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must either have a bachelor's degree with 10 years of facilities-related experience; or Master's degree with 8 years of facilities-related experience or a PhD with 6 years of facilities-related experience; or 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree

  • Proven experience in leading or managing teams/projects, including goal setting and performance reviews

  • Knowledge of facilities infrastructure, equipment redundancies, electrical and mechanical systems, and basic code requirements

  • Successful experience in vendor negotiations, facility consolidations, and relevant construction projects

  • Familiarity with accounting and budgeting practices

  • Experience briefing senior management and executive leadership

  • Proven ability to achieve organizational objectives and metrics

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in MEP Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Management, or Business Management

  • 6-10 years of Facilities Project Management experience

  • Prior experience managing facilities in a manufacturing production environment

  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems

  • Experience with Maximo software

Primary Level Salary Range: $151,500.00 - $227,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
