Job description

We are representing a state recognised, employee-owned Architectural & Engineering firm in Orlando who are seeking a Project Designer to join the already established team. Due to secured upcoming projects across a variety of markets, the organisation who operate regionally, have an opportunity to support and work alongside the Principal Architect. Key Responsibilities Support on all key phases including construction documentation and contract administration.

Develop and refine architectural design concepts, incorporating innovative and sustainable solutions that align with client goals and project requirements. Produce accurate construction documents and BIM models in Revit, ensuring consistency and quality across all project deliverables. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical challenges and maintain project progress.

Support projects through all phases, from initial design and planning through construction administration and project closeout. Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and work planning to ensure projects remain on track and meet client expectations. Participate in construction administration activities, including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and updating documentation as required.

Contribute to QA/QC processes and design reviews to maintain high standards of design quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance. Support permitting, bidding, and specification development while assisting project leadership with workflow coordination, task delegation, and stakeholder communication. Required Qualifications Ideally 4-10 years' experience.

Open to anyone who is licensed, unlicensed or on the path to qualification. Previous experience delivering on phases such as schematic design, design development, construction development and contract administration. Comfortable with softwares such as Revit, AutoCad, SketchUp or Bluebeam.

Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholder management. What's on offer? $70,000-$85,000 salary.
