Job description

Overview
The Mental Health Tech I provides direct patient care and management of patients with medical and behavioral issues under the supervision of a Clinical Nurse by performing non-professional patient care services, crisis intervention, therapeutic interactions and behavior management. The Mental Health Tech I also provides non-direct patient care by providing continuous observation and surveillance of patients through an interactive visual monitoring system or a closed-circuit TV monitoring system.
