Consolidated Data Analytics Platform Systems Administrator
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Consolidated Data Analytics Platform Systems Administrator to support and maintain critical data environments across Mission Partner Environments (MPE). This role is responsible for the deployment, configuration, administration, and optimization of enterprise analytics platforms that enable secure data sharing and collaboration among mission partners.
You'll provide your customers with insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a critical network. You'll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. We focus on growing as a team, so you'll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the teamwork through challenges and develop new methodologies. As a technical leader, you'll identify new opportunities to modernize the network to help your customers meet their needs. Join our team and solve daily challenges as we improve cross-domain.

You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Linux Systems Administrator in a security-focused environment
  • Experience with Linux operating systems such as RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, OpenVAS, and remediation processes
  • Experience with identity and access management (IAM) concepts
  • Experience in scripting or automation using Bash, Python, and Ansible
  • Knowledge of system hardening standards such as STIGs and CIS Benchmarks
  • Knowledge of log management and SIEM platforms such as Splunk and ELK
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as TCP, IP, firewalls, ports, and protocols
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with container security such as Docker or Kubernetes hardening
  • Experience with endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools
  • Experience in regulated environments such as DoW or Intelligence Community
  • Knowledge of SELinux, AppArmor, and kernel-level security controls
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
