The position offers broad exposure across the finance and accounting organization and will partner closely with Corporate Accounting, Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting, FP&A, and Finance Systems teams to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and transparency of the Company's consolidated reporting.
In addition to accounting and reporting responsibilities, this role will contribute to initiatives aimed at improving reconciliation, certification, and reporting workflows and modernizing Bloomberg's finance and accounting technology solutions.
We'll Trust You To:
• Prepare and maintain Bloomberg's monthly consolidated close package for senior accounting and finance leadership.

• Collaborate with Finance Systems and business partners to enhance reporting, close management, and reconciliation processes across platforms including SAP, Oracle, BlackLine, and Workiva.
• Support initiatives to streamline and accelerate close activities as Bloomberg continues to evolve its financial reporting processes and timelines.
You'll Need To Have:
• 7-10 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, consolidations, or external reporting.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statement presentation.
• Experience supporting month-end and quarter-end close processes.
• Demonstrated ability to perform analytical review of financial results and investigate significant variances.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and levels of management.
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
We'd Love To See:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA (preferred but not required).
• Experience with consolidated financial statements and multi-entity accounting environments.
• Experience working within large, complex organizations with global operations.
• Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, BlackLine, Workiva, or similar financial systems.
• Public accounting experience, particularly within assurance or financial reporting practices.
• Experience participating in finance transformation, systems implementation, or process automation initiatives.
Salary Range = 110,000 - 140,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
