Job description

We are seeking per diem Endoscopy / GI Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide direct nursing care in a fast‐paced endoscopy unit. This role is ideal for nurses who are confident in procedural care, patient monitoring, and supporting GI procedures from pre‐op through recovery.


What You’ll Do

  • Provide nursing care for patients undergoing GI and endoscopic procedures
  • Assist with pre‐procedure preparation, intra‐procedure support, and post‐procedure recovery
  • Perform IV insertion and monitor patients receiving moderate/conscious sedation
  • Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythm, and patient response throughout procedures
  • Support physicians during procedures such as EGD and colonoscopy
  • Ensure proper documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and endoscopy team members to ensure safe, efficient care


Schedule

  • Per diem / as‐needed
  • Day shifts (procedural hours vary by facility)

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state‐specific or compact, as applicable)
  • Endoscopy or GI nursing experience required
  • Proficiency with IV insertion and patient monitoring
