Sedation Registered Nurse (PRN / Part-Time)
Locations: Rome and Dalton, GA
Summit Spine and Joint Centers (SSJC) is on track to become the largest comprehensive spine and joint care provider in the state of Georgia, offering clinical, surgical, and imaging services to our patients. We are seeking a part-time/PRN, self-motivated Sedation Registered Nurses who are passionate about transforming lives through exceptional patient care.
These roles will support ASC clinic locations in Rome and Dalton
Responsibilities:

  • In conjunction with other members of the ASC nursing team, provide conscious sedation services for outpatient surgical cases
  • Manage the care of assigned patients using clinical knowledge, sound judgment, and decision-making skills appropriate for the patient population
  • Deliver patient care utilizing standardized, evidence-based guidelines and appropriate resources
  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition, administer medications, and document all encounters and progress notes
  • Communicate with collaborating physicians and specialists regarding patient care
  • Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Develop care plans and provide emotional support to patients and family members
Qualifications:
  • Active RN license in good standing for the state of Georgia (no limitations)
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • ER or ICU nursing experience strongly preferred
  • Prior conscious sedation experience required
  • Familiarity with medical software and clinical equipment
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
