About the Role:
We are looking to add another Institutional Lending Specialist to our team. Reporting to the Institutional Lending Manager, this role's primary responsibilities include facilitating the purchase of loans from our lending partners, conducting quality reviews of the loans received to ensure adherence to the program criteria, conducting ongoing monitoring of data received from our loan servicers, and assisting with some loan sale activities.
Responsibilities:
  • Presents risk analysis of loans that exceed approval authority to the appropriate Manager for their resolution.
  • Manages loan purchase transactions with a focus on employing strong loan review skills, volume fluctuations and exceeding department goals and objectives.
  • Recognizes, adheres, and complies with established department procedures to ensure accurate, efficient and timely processing of transactions.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with our business partners.
  • Works closely with Accounting to ensure timely processing and superior service to our business partners.
  • Assists Institutional Lending Team to analyze, improve and implement processes to execute overall business plan.
  • Complies with all State and Federal Regulations as they pertain to your job duties.
  • Assists with or conducts training Team Members as needed.

Position Requirements:
  • This position is Remote.
  • Associates degree or commensurate experience is Required.
  • 1+ year of prior loan review experience within a financial institution is Required.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to work with multi-faceted systems is Required.
  • High attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy is Required.
  • Requires proficient skills to use Microsoft Suite applications, including Excel and Word.
