Job description

Demand Generation Manager, Internal IT

ConnectWise is looking for a Demand Generation Manager to own the go-to-market engine for targeting buyers in IT departments (internal IT) across multiple industries. You'll help build the strategy from the ground up and drive the execution that turns it into pipeline and revenue. If you thrive in an environment where you get to define the playbook, not just run it, this is your opportunity.

  • Own the demand generation strategy and execution for IT buyers across target industries, partnering closely with Sales leadership and cross-functional teams to build a scalable, high-performing growth engine
  • Help evolve and operationalize ConnectWise's go-to-market approach for internal IT, adapting and tailoring existing GTM motions to effectively reach, engage, and convert internal IT buyers.
  • Develop and execute integrated campaign strategies spanning channel/indirect motions, digital demand generation, and brand awareness programs to drive pipeline and revenue outcomes.
  • Orchestrate integrated campaigns across inbound and outbound channels in partnership with Field Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Marketing Ops
  • Own pipeline metrics for the internal IT business, including MQL volume, MQL-to-SQO conversion, pipeline creation, velocity, and contribution to bookings targets.
  • Partner with Rev Ops to build reporting rhythms that track performance, surface leakage, and drive continuous optimization
  • Act as the internal champion for the internal IT buyer segment, communicating campaign strategy, performance, insights, and upcoming programs to Sales leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Identify gaps in the demand engine and bring forward recommendations to close them

What You Bring

  • 6+ years in B2B demand generation, with a track record of owning pipeline targets and delivering results, not just executing tasks
  • Experience building or launching demand gen programs from scratch, not just optimizing existing ones
  • Strong cross-functional instincts: you know how to align with Sales, work with PMM, and get things done without perfect conditions
  • Hands-on experience with Martech (Salesforce, Marketo or HubSpot, Outreach or similar) and a solid grasp of funnel mechanics
  • Data-driven mindset: You leverage data to continuously improve performance.
  • Bias toward action, you don't wait for perfect alignment or a fully built playbook to start moving
  • Experience in a SaaS or IT channel environment strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

What Success Looks Like in 90 Days

  • You have a clear understanding of the internal IT market opportunity, buyer personas, ICP, competitive landscape, current funnel performance, and gaps in the existing demand engine.
  • A 6-month integrated demand plan is defined across channel/indirect, digital, and brand awareness motions, socialized with Sales leadership, and at least one net-new campaign is in-market.
  • Weekly or bi-weekly pipeline reporting cadence is established and running
  • Sales and SDR teams know exactly what mid-market demand gen is doing and why
