Join the Trillium Family Services Team

At Trillium Family Services, we are dedicated to helping children and families build brighter futures. We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused IT Technician to provide on-site technical support across our campuses in Portland and Corvallis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, supporting end users, and working collaboratively with an experienced Information Systems team.

Location: Portland or Corvallis, Oregon
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week (On-site)
Pay Range: $25.00–$27.00 per hour

About the Role

The IT Technician works within established organizational policies and procedures and complies with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The position involves handling confidential employee and client information and requires sound judgment, discretion, and attention to detail. Work is performed under the general supervision of the System Administrator.

Working Environment

This is an on-site position requiring regular attendance at our Portland or Corvallis campus. Travel between agency locations may be required based on business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and coordinate the deployment of computer hardware and software applications.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
  • Assist the System Administrator with system support and issue resolution.
  • Manage and monitor backup systems.
  • Schedule and perform preventive maintenance on computer equipment.
  • Coordinate and schedule vendor service calls when necessary.
  • Set up user accounts, file access, and email accounts for new hires and assist with employee terminations.
  • Train staff on Microsoft applications, business software, clinical software, and other technology tools.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and tracking of IT department assets.
  • Prepare and maintain department reports and documentation.
  • Provide recommendations that support the continued growth and improvement of the organization's technology environment.
  • Complete all required agency trainings and maintain compliance with organizational policies.
QualificationsEducation
  • Associate degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or a related field; or
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Experience
  • Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer hardware and software.
  • Familiarity with Windows network environments.
  • Experience repairing and troubleshooting IBM-compatible/Windows-based computers is preferred.
  • Experience supporting end users in a business or healthcare environment is a plus.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong computer troubleshooting and technical support skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and common business software applications.
Licenses & Requirements
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Driving record acceptable to Trillium Family Services.
  • If authorized to use a personal vehicle for agency business, must maintain current personal automobile insurance
Compensation
  • $25.00–$27.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.
