Job description

Conformal Coating Touch Up and Rework Operator
Classification: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Production Supervisor
Salary Range: $20.00-$23.00/hour based on experience

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Inspect, repair, and manually apply protective coatings to the electronic assemblies (PCBAs) where areas have not been adequately covered by conformal coating

·         Apply, repair, or remove conformal coating (acrylic, urethane, silicon, parylene) from restricted areas on PCBAs using precision tools, brushes, and microscopes

Qualifications:

·         Must be authorized to work in the US

·         Must be able to interpret work instructions

·         High attention to detail and high dexterity skills

·         Proficiency in manual application techniques (brushing, syringes)

·         Ability to identify defects such as bubbles, voids, thin spots under ultraviolet (UV) light

·         Must be able to read and write in English

·         Knowledge of electronics helpful

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Work may include bending over or crouching. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
