The IT Associate II-Service Desk-Alt Sched role provides technical support and assistance, whether on the phone, in person, or remotely, related to computer systems, hardware, and software. This role responds to customer queries to provide technical assistance.

*This is a Compressed Schedule position working a 4 days/10 hours shift.*


• Diagnose computer errors and troubleshoot computer software, hardware, and networking issues.
• Provide technical support to remedy computer problems.
• Follow up with users after problems have been resolved.
• Install and configure software and operating systems, and update these systems when necessary.
• Respond to queries on the phone, via email, in person, or through remote access.
• Offer technical assistance on the delivery, configuration, set up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, hardware, and software. 

• Train computer users.

* Shift Hours 11:30am-10:00pm* 


  • Strong Working Knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
  • Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and team working skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Display an openness to learning new technologies.
  • Must be able to work any shift, night, weekends, holidays and extended hours as part of the regular schedule. 
  • Capacity to work efficently with little to no direct supervision.

• Minimum Required : Associates degree or equivalent coursework, or equivalent experience.

• Minimum Required : 1+ years of working in a technical environment. 


  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Active Directory. 

• Preferred: CompTia A+.
