Description:

 Setup Configuration Analyst We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated person to join our Setup/Updates team as an entry level Setup Configuration Analyst. The primary responsibility of this role is to remotely perform scheduled setup of hardware and software for customers. As a Setup Configuration Analyst, you will work closely with our implementation/project management team as well as with customers to complete the assigned tasks. The ideal candidate should be detailed orientated, be able to work independently, possess the ability to work effectively with co-workers and customers, and exhibit outstanding customer service skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Remotely perform setup of POS system hardware and software components. - Complete assigned tasks accurately and in a timely manner. - Provide status updates of assigned tasks to customer and project manager. - Escalate issues to the technical support team, project manager, development team and department manager as necessary. - Create/update department documentation, provide feedback to department manager. SKILL REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or 5+ years of equivalent experience - SQL programming and relational database knowledge - Basic networking and client/server system architecture knowledge - Strong oral and written communication skills - Flexibility to work outside normal hours as needed - Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Server, Apache Tomcat, and Java is preferred - Experience with using retail software or providing technical support in small/medium business applications is a plus Flexible Work Place/Hours Benefits include Medical, 401(K), Vacation/Sick leave, Life Insurance, FSA.
