Epic Willow Ambulatory Analyst (Contract)

Location: 100% Remote (Candidates for Contract to Hire must reside in one of the following states: AZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, ID, KY, MD, MO, NC, NJ, NY, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WI, WV)

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM

On-Call Requirement: Participation in a rotating 24/7 support schedule


Position Overview

Our healthcare client is seeking an experienced Epic Willow Ambulatory Analyst to serve as the primary liaison between Information Technology and operational stakeholders. This role is responsible for translating business needs into technology solutions, supporting Epic applications, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring optimal application performance across the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess strong Epic Willow expertise, exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused approach to supporting clinical and pharmacy operations. This position will play a critical role in application maintenance, system enhancements, upgrades, workflow optimization, and ongoing end-user support.


Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary IT point of contact for Epic Willow Ambulatory stakeholders and operational teams.
  • Manage and resolve incidents, requests, and application issues through the ServiceNow ticketing system.
  • Provide day-to-day support for Epic Willow Ambulatory and related pharmacy applications.
  • Participate in application upgrades, enhancements, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Analyze business requirements and recommend technology solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • Create and maintain system workflows, process documentation, and application support materials.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, technical, and vendor teams to support system performance and optimization.
  • Troubleshoot complex application issues and identify root causes for resolution.
  • Monitor system functionality and ensure application performance meets business expectations.
  • Support integrations and pharmacy-related third-party systems as needed.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule providing after-hours support for critical incidents.

Required Qualifications
  • Epic Willow Ambulatory Certification (Required)
  • Experience supporting Epic Willow Ambulatory workflows and pharmacy operations.
  • Strong understanding of Epic application build, configuration, and support.
  • Experience troubleshooting incidents, managing service requests, and supporting production environments.
  • Ability to engage quickly and provide effective support in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with technical teams, operational stakeholders, and third-party vendors.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Epic Willow Inpatient Certification.
  • Specialty Pharmacy Certification.
  • Clinical knowledge or experience within a pharmacy, healthcare, or patient care environment.
  • Experience supporting pharmacy-related third-party applications and integrations.
  • Prior experience working within large healthcare systems or enterprise healthcare organizations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00/hr.
