Job description

Overview

Tradesmen International is looking to expand our team of qualified Electricians for a current 12+ month project in Claude, TX. This is a commercial/industrial new construction data center project, first shift (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday), with pay up to $31/hour DOE and $130/day per diem. Overtime is available, with expected 50-60 hour work weeks. Traveling employees will be staying in Amarillo, TX, approximately 27 miles from the project site.

Job Scope to Include any or all of the following:

  • Installing cable trays, ladder, baskets/wire mesh, trough, and channel trays
  • Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and layout drawings
  • Measuring, cutting, and assembling cable tray systems
  • Installation of supports including Unistrut, trapeze systems, threaded rod, and wall brackets
  • Pulling and routing power, control, and low-voltage cables
  • Conduit installation (EMT, Rigid, IMC)
  • Electrical terminations, device installation, and fixture installation
  • Knowledge of NEC requirements related to cable tray systems
  • Experience working from elevations and layout specifications
  • Ability to install tray systems at heights using lifts

Requirements:

  • No electrical license required per client
  • Must provide standard electrical hand tools and PPE
  • Must pass an onsite oral swab drug screen

Preferred Experience:

  • Data center construction experience
  • Fiber optic cable installation and routing experience
  • Medium-voltage cable pulling experience
  • 2-4 years of cable tray bonding and grounding experience
  • BIM/Navisworks coordination experience
  • Cable tray modifications in live facilities experience
  • Industrial electrical experience
  • Experience operating scissor lifts, boom lifts, material lifts, laser levels, threaders/band saws, and cable tuggers
