Job Description Summary:
This position manages the daily operations of the inpatient rehabilitation services of physical, occupational, speech and pediatric therapy for OhioHealth to ensure appropriate staffing levels, quality of service, efficiency, customer satisfaction, personnel development, program development, fiscal responsibility, and interdisciplinary communication. He/She is assigned to one hospital campus and must work closely with their counterpart on the other campus.
Responsibilities And Duties:

Manages professional and technical personnel, including: hiring and termination, performance reviews, counseling, and staff development; productivity and bi-weekly payroll; plans staffing levels and coverage in coordination with other G/RMH sites; advises staff on patient care issues, resolution of problems; and assures documentation of competency of staff.
20%
Is financially accountable for rehab services FTE and operations budget for campus inpatient programs. Assists in developing annual budget, and adjusts according to revised financial and staffing targets.
15%
Represents Rehab Services Department in clinical committees, management meetings, and performance improvement teams.
10%
Acts as liaison for Rehab Services Department, communicating information to and from each discipline and other hospital departments and/or physicians.
10%
Monitors and reports on quality of rehab services through continuous quality improvement.
5%
Functions as staff therapist as required to mentor and educate staff in specific skills.
As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties.

Field of Study: Rehab related discipline. Clinical expertise in rehab services discipline, knowledge of Ohio laws and rules governing rehab, disciplines, continuing related to management and rehabilitation. 5 yrs. in healthcare field and 3 to 5 yrs. management Experience. Prior Leadership experience required. Licensed Therapist is required.
