Job description

ViaSun Corporation is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Concrete Superintendent to oversee and manage our construction projects. As a Concrete Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of projects, managing resources, and ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Supervising and leading a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Managing project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment at all times.
  • Monitoring and inspecting work progress to identify any issues or deviations from plans.
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any project-related challenges.
  • Interpreting and implementing project plans, specifications, and blueprints.
  • Coordinating and scheduling the delivery of materials and equipment to the construction site.
  • Preparing and submitting progress reports, daily logs, and other project documentation.

To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Concrete Superintendent in the construction industry. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential. A solid understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and the ability to interpret project plans are also required.
