Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Austin, Texas.

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | On-Call Required | 4 Weekend Shifts Per Schedule

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a 65-bed NICU with patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 4:1 depending on acuity
  • Operate and monitor specialized equipment including isolettes, ventilators, feeding pumps, IV pumps, and breast pumps
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including charge nurses, team leads, transport nurses, respiratory therapists, and unit assistants
  • Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN electronic medical record systems
  • Fulfill on-call requirements and participate in weekend shift rotations as scheduled
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience
  • Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and meet on-call obligations
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to adapt positively to change
  • Navy scrubs required per unit dress code
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • 2 or more years of Level 4 NICU experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Meditech and CPN EMR platforms
  • Experience as a travel nurse in a high-acuity NICU setting
