Job description

Job Summary:ย SEACORP has an immediate need for a full-time Computer Engineer with a Secret clearance based at a government facilityin Olney, Maryland site. The selected applicant will perform work to assistwith the development and management of Government labs and DoD systems. Whilethese positions will mostly have regular business hours, some travel will berequired.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Design architecture, installation,configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of server and systemsconfigurations (hardware and software) to ensure their confidentiality,integrity, and availability.
  • Inaddition to design and development duties, computer hardware engineerssupervise the manufacturing and installation of computers and computer-relatedequipment.
  • Administer server-based systems,security devices, distributed applications, network storage, messaging, andperforms systems monitoring.
  • Potential to consult on network, and applicationissues to support computer systems' security and sustainability.
  • Successfulcompletion of training in Windows Administration will be required within thefirst 6 months of hire.
  • Apply the principles and techniques of computerscience, engineering, and mathematical analysis to the design, development,testing, and evaluation of the software and systems that enable computers toperform their many applications.ย 
  • Solve technical problems that arise.ย 
  • Involved in the design and development of many typesof software, including software for operating systems and network distribution,and compilers, which convert programs for execution on a computer.ย
