Overview
**SHIP REQUIRED**
SUMMARY:
The Systems Engineer shall be responsible for resolving incidents escalating to or originating at the Systems Engineer level.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for administration of the Microsoft computing environment to include but not limited to:
  • Microsoft Domain Administration
  • Active Directory
  • Domain controllers
  • Domain Names Services (DNS)
  • Troubleshooting minor network connectivity issues such as network interface card (NIC), cabling, TCP/IP configuration issues.
  • Basic messaging system administration (e-mail).
  • PC and server hardware familiarity including the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues using configuration analysis and subsystem (hard drive, memory, monitors, and power supplies) repair/replacement procedures.
  • Responding to trouble tickets from the Service Desk automated trouble ticketing system.
  • Performing hardware and software System, including patches, upgrades, service packs, and hotfixes to ensure system availability, reliability, and serviceability.
  • Persons in this position will also be responsible for backup and recovery functions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Must maintain a current Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert and
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification and
  • At least five (5) years of experience working with the Microsoft computing environment.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
