Job Description
The Systems Engineer contributes to the development and delivery of complex technical solutions by collaborating across multiple engineering disciplines. This role supports the planning, definition, integration, testing, and implementation of system-level capabilities throughout the product lifecycle. The successful candidate will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly defined, effectively communicated, and successfully implemented while helping to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions that meet business, customer, and regulatory objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support all phases of the system development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, system design, integration, testing, verification, and deployment activities.
  • Analyze customer and stakeholder needs and translate them into clear technical requirements, work packages, and supporting documentation for engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, mechanical, electrical, and testing personnel, to ensure alignment with system objectives and requirements.
  • Assist in the development and review of technical analyses, risk assessments, trade-off evaluations, and engineering recommendations.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, reports, presentations, and system-level artifacts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Participate in design reviews, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional problem-solving efforts to enhance product quality and development efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior engineering team members while contributing to a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
  • Apply industry-recognized systems engineering methodologies and best practices to support successful project execution and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Typically 2+ years of experience supporting multidisciplinary engineering or technical projects involving systems integration, requirements management, testing, or product development.
  • Understanding of systems engineering concepts, including requirements development, traceability, interface management, verification, and validation activities.
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments with diverse technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
