Position Summary

We are seeking a senior-level systems engineer to support Enhanced 9-1-1 (E-911) implementation activities associated with Army Voice Modernization. This position provides systems engineering and IP network support focused on emergency services routing, location information provisioning, interoperability coordination, and technical risk reduction supporting Army Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) connectivity. In this critical position you will help modernize emergency communications in support of Army installations worldwide.

Duties and Responsibilities

Systems Engineering and Architecture Support

Coordinate provisioning activities with Government and Prime Contractor stakeholders.

Systems engineering support for emergency communications integration.

Architecture reviews, interface analysis, and technical assessments.

Issue escalation, risk identification, and mitigation planning.

IP Network Engineering and Routing associated with E-911call delivery

Analyze routing dependencies, interconnection performance, and SIP call path issues.

Support DISA VISP location provisioning and record validation.

Assist in resolving location discrepancies impacting emergency call routing.

Technical Recommendations and Risk Assessments



Requirements

Required:

  • 10+ years systems engineering or network engineering experience
  • 5+ years IP routing and enterprise communications experience
  • Experience with SIP/VoIP technologies
  • Experience supporting E-911 / NG911 environments
  • Experience supporting DoD or Federal networks
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Preferred: Experience

  • DISA VISP familiarity
  • Army VMOD experience
  • PSAP interconnection experience
  • Cisco certifications (CCNP/CCIE)
