Job description

Fetch Staffing Solutions is filling a Systems Architect position for a large nonprofit based in Midtown Atlanta on a 6 month contract to hire arrangement. This is a hybrid position requiring 3-5 days week in our client’s midtown office.

Pay rate is $50-$60/hr.

The Systems Architect will report to the Sr. Director, Enterprise Technology. The Systems Architect will be responsible for the mapping, design, and understanding of the overarching technical framework of the company. This role will be heavily focused on cross-system integration, enduring hardware, software, and data communicate, flow and interact seamlessly. This role will bridge the gap on understanding the end-to-end process and complete picture on the connecting data and systems. This role will serve as the subject matter expert and consultant on how systems should be integrated. This role will oversee the big picture in order to meet business needs while ensuring the stability and scalability of the systems and data pipelines. The person in this role will need to have strong facilitation and negotiations skills to build relationships across the organization in order to drive technology solutions.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Connectivty & Integration: Design and document complete data flows, APIs, communication protocols between disparate systems, including but not limited to Salesforce, Netsuite, Smartsheet, Celigo, Concur, ADP, and ensuring interoperability across cloud and on-premises environments.

Architecture Mapping & Design: Create comprehensive architectural diagrams to visually represent system interactions and data flows in a user-friendly manner. Map the complete design of the architecture across the enterprise systems. Identify data flow breakpoints that create points of failure or lack of scalability and create alternate flows or solutions.

Cross-Functional Influence: Partner with internal IT team members to build scalable, reliable, secure, and performant systems while also having influence with the stakeholders by understanding disparate needs across the business in order to incorporate them into the solutions. Participates in various internal forums to provide a real-time system perspective and identify any clear issues or limitations.

System Governance: Establish technical standards and governance processes to ensure integrations, both existing and new align to technology and business needs.

Lifecycle Management & Optimization: Evaluate emerging technologies, continuously watch for bottlenecks, and streamline workflows.

Release Management: Set release, deployment and upgrade schedules based on expert knowledge of connectivity between integrated systems.

Communication & Partnerships: Have strong written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate with any levels within the organization. Able to build relationships and partnerships with various stakeholders throughout the organization.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience

Experience: 6+ years in enterprise IT, with significant experience in distributed systems, API integration, network, and cloud architecture. Experience with designing, integrating, and mapping of our key systems: Salesforce, NetSuite, Smartsheet, Concur, ADP, Azure a must. Expertise in Microsoft ecosystem a plus.

Technical Proficiencies: Deep understanding of architectural design and diagramming, data and system workflows.

Communication: Strong communication, technical writing, and diagramming skills that translate across functional business areas.

Architecture and Modeling: Strong experience in architectural frameworks and building data models.

Diagramming Tools: Heavy experience with tools such Lucidchart, Visio, draw.io or the like for diagramming.

System Integration & Microservices: Strong knowledge of API designs(RESTful), event driven architecture and distributed systems. Experience with communication protocols(REST) databases(SQL, NoSQL).

Security: Knowledge of designing secure solutions for high availability, disaster recovery, authorization, authentication(OAuth) and adherence to data flow needs.

Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture and align technical infrastructure with business goals

AI: Experience with using AI tools with architectural design and security best practices in mind.

Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Salesforce Certified System Architect nice to have.
