Job description

Job Summary:
ECS is seeking a Computer Systems Architect - Journeyman to support the Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program. The role involves developing enterprise systems architectures and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards while supporting a large-scale IT infrastructure for the ARNG.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and refine enterprise systems architectures across hosting, network, cloud, and application environments.
• Assist in creating reference designs and integration documentation.
• Optimize performance plans under senior direction.
• Conduct technical analysis and evaluate system impacts.
• Ensure architectural artifacts align with cybersecurity and configuration management requirements.
• Support the development of secure, scalable solutions compliant with DoD STIG standards.
• Collaborate with teams to enhance system availability and reliability.
• Implement best practices for cloud platforms and virtualization technologies.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Clearance: TS//SCI Eligible required
• U.S. Citizenship required
• DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 651-Enterprise Architect-Enterprise Architect at the Intermediate proficiency level
• Certifications (one or more required): SecurityX / CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, CSSLP, FITSP-D, GDSA, GSEC
• Education: Bachelors in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]
• 9+ years of experience in enterprise systems architecture and infrastructure design
• Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
• Proficient in container orchestration tools like OpenShift and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies including VMware
• Demonstrated ability to design secure solutions with cybersecurity hardening
Preferred:
• Clearance: Active TS//SCI preferred
• Experience with DoD STIG compliance and cybersecurity measures
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments and their security challenges
• Strong analytical skills for system impact evaluation
• Proven track record in performance optimization and system integration
