Responsibilities and Qualifications

Primary responsibilities include providing Tier III support for maintaining a secure environment. The supporting infrastructure includes servers, computers, software and other devices/peripherals on standalone and/or secure government networks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshooting application functionality,Β crash and performance.Β 
  • Investigate user performance and work with external teams to improve user experience.Β 
  • AssistsΒ customer with TierΒ IIIΒ incident resolution of Linux,Β Windows,Β Apple, andΒ otherΒ softwareΒ applications.Β 
  • Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system incidents with both short-termΒ workarounds and long-term solutions.Β Β Β 
  • Communicate effectively (both oral and written) withΒ varietyΒ ofΒ individuals. Work well in small and large team environments.Β 
  • Respond toΒ escalatedΒ service/teamΒ requests andΒ exhibitsΒ ownership until resolved or closed.Β 
  • Willingness to provide initial tirage, response, and notifications for incidents.Β

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

  • 3 years of experience serving as a Tier 2/Tier 3 escalation point of contact and coordinating with OEM/vendor (Tier 4) support is preferred.Β 

Certifications:

  • CompTIA Security+Β 
  • Windows Administrator Cert/TrainingΒ 
  • Milestone Certified Engineer (MCDE) preferred
  • Lenel Certified Professional (LCP) preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a relatedΒ field. Equivalency: Associate's degree plus 2Β additionalΒ years of experience, or a total of 8 years of directly relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Clearance:

  • Must possess a Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph

Target salary range: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00.Β  The salary range displayed is an estimate only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements.Β  The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.Β
