Job description

Desktop Support Specialist

 40 hrs/wk, 8hrs/day, 8am - 5pm
$23 per hour

  This position supports approximately 150 laptops, 35 computer labs, 600 workstations, and numerous peripherals. Computer lab management, monitoring, maintenance, service tickets, etc.

Troubleshoot and manage deployed services in a multi-user environment. Managing daily operations and student employee support operation.
 Manage college level service desk front end.
 Monitor/manage "Service Desk" ticket queues, includes ticket assignment, problem resolution and ticket closing.
 Assist in administration of Apple, Microsoft and Linux workstations deployed for academic and research needs within the college.
 Hardware, software and networking experience with multiple platforms, hardware and peripherals.
 Troubleshooting and problem-solving experience; computers, software, peripherals, etc.
 Excellent customer service, communications and organizational skills.
