Job description

Position Description:

Imagine One Technology & Management, Ltd. is seeking a Computer Network Architect contingent upon award of the associated work. The contract will be performed in Lexington Park, Maryland, however routine telework is anticipated for this role.

The Computer Network Architect will design and implement computer and information networks such as LANs, WANs, intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks. They will perform network modeling, analysis, and planning including analysis of capacity needs for network infrastructures. They may also design network and computer security measures; and ay research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software. The Computer Network Architect will apply engineering and computer networking principles to the development, design, integration, and fielding of hardware and software systems associated with local, regional, and WANs and systems that process and route voice, video, data, and imagery information. Efforts include analysis and evaluation of networking requirements and the design and development of network topologies and architectures to include hardware and software identification, network test and evaluation, operational and performance analysis, network upgrades and modifications, and implementation of network security and information assurance measures.

Experience Requirements:

A minimum of seven years of experience, including:

  • at least five of those years must have included experience with design and development of military systems.
    • military systems experience can be satisfied by C2 up to C6ISR systems.
  • at least three years must have included management or supervisory experience.

Educational Requirements:

Candidates must satisfy one (1) of the following educational requirements in order to qualify:

  • BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering;
  • DAU DCWF 651 Enterprise Architect - Advanced Playlist;
  • Certified Information Systems Security Officer (C)ISSO);
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP);
  • GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA);
  • GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA);
  • GIAC Cloud Security Essentials (GCLD);
  • GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP);
  • GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC);
  • Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP); OR
  • Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP)
