Job description

  • Developing and implementing secure and efficient network architecture solutions in alignment with contractual requirements and DoD standards
  • Designing, configuring, and maintaining network systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security across the organization
  • Monitoring network operations continuously, performing proactive diagnostics and troubleshooting to address emerging issues
  • Preparing and maintaining comprehensive documentation of network layouts, configurations, and change management protocols
  • Performing tasking that involves engineering development, integration and interface design analysis, installation, integration, fielding and field analysis, operation, maintenance, and testing of communication systems and network hardware and software

  • Three or more years of experience in a computer network architect role
  • One or more years of experience with communication systems, networks, or technologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, cyber security engineering, computer engineering, computer science, information systems or other engineering degree
  • Demonstrated experience relating to local, regional, WANs, and communication systems and networks supporting voice, video, data, and imagery information
  • Demonstrated proficiency in designing, deploying, and maintaining mid-level network architectures that comply with contractual and DoD technical standards
  • Proven ability to configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network devices and systems to ensure continuous operational performance
  • Experienced in implementing network security protocols and best practices as outlined in the SOW/PWS
  • One or more of the following certifications:
    • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
    • Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
    • GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
    • Security+
    • Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA-Security)
  • Possess an active DoD Top Secret security clearance

  • Familiarity with advanced network virtualization and cloud-based networking technologies to support scalable network solutions
  • Proficiency in utilizing network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds) for proactive threat detection and performance optimization
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive integrated network and cybersecurity initiatives
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills with a focus on rapid resolution of network anomalies and vulnerabilities
