Description
Assist with printing and help with daily operation of print shop and delivering supplies/packages on campus and assisting supervisor with monthly reports and management of all bulk mailings.
Description of Essential Functions (critical tasks)
Essential Job Functions:
  1. Assume overall responsibility of the print shop in the absence of the Supervisor and print shop technician.
  2. Coordinating daily scheduling and complete printing jobs using digital printing equipment and the appropriate finishing equipment and assistance with customers.
  3. Tracking the progress of print jobs and billing printed materials.
  4. Provide direction/scheduling for part-time and student workers.
  5. Complete printing jobs using press equipment and the appropriate finishing equipment.
  6. Monthly billing and reports.
  7. Coordinate delivery of computer lab supplies.
  8. Manage all areas of bulk mail including stuffing tabbing and addressing.
  9. Deliver supplies (toner paper completed print jobs) to customers on campus.
  10. Maintain security of confidential materials.
  11. Perform necessary minor adjustments on equipment as required.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Specific Functional Job Requirements
Education Requirements:
  • Associates Degree preferred, High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience Requirements:
  • Prefer some printing experience.

Knowledge:
  • Basic knowledge of printing.

Skills:
  • Manual dexterity, work with machines and the ability to be self-directed, drivers license required.

Personal Requirements:
  • Ability to get along with others.
