The Research Laboratory Technician performs laboratory procedures such as blood harvesting and urine monitoring according to protocol as assigned. Works with coordinators in assuring the smooth and orderly flow of procedures in the Clinics, Lab and Urine Monitoring areas.
We have successfully supported the top 50 pharmaceutical companies and more than 750 biotechs, spanning 2,700 clinical trials across 100+ countries in the last 5 years.
What You'll Do:
• Collect and harvest plasma, serum, and all other required laboratory specimens according to protocol specifications.
• Monitor the collection of urine and/or fecal specimens from subjects participating in studies.
• Complete all required study documents and undergo training on special equipment per protocol as needed.
• Assure that all procedures and processing areas are maintained in a neat, clean, and organized manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Keys to Success:
Education
• High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
• Technical positions may require a certificate
Experience
• Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 1 year).
In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Required Availability (Lab "All Shifts"):
  • This position is a per diem role, requiring flexibility to work across all shift types: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
  • Training Requirement: All new employees must complete a mandatory training period during the 1st shift (typically 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) for the first month of employment.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required by the department schedule.
  • Ability to respond to on-call requests and cover shifts on short notice is essential.
  • Willingness to rotate shifts and adapt to changing schedules as needed.
