Job description

Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare and laboratory services industry, is seekingย Clinical Lab Associates to join their dedicated team. As a Clinical Lab Associate,ย you will be an integral part of the Specimen Processing Department supporting laboratory operations and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of specimen handling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Clinical Lab Associateย 

Location: Madison, WI

Pay Range: $23ย - $27/hr Depending on Shift

Shift:5ย Different Available Shifts - 36 hours / Week

  • 1st - 6am - 330pm Tuesday - Friday
  • 2nd - 2pm - 11:30pm Tuesday - Friday
  • 3rd - 10pm - 7:30am Tuesday - Friday
  • Weekend AM - 6am - 6:30pm - Saturday - Monday
  • Weekend PM - 6pm - 6:30am - Saturday - Monday
Will train 7am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday for first two weeks!

What's the Job?

  • Perform daily specimen processing tasks including accessioning, sample racking, and automation support.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of laboratory activities and resolve issues following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Support quality improvement initiatives, SOP development, and participate in department inspections and audits.
  • Handle specimens safely, dispose of biohazardous materials properly, and adhere to safety policies and regulations.
  • Assist with lab maintenance, cleaning, and support team engagement activities to foster a positive work environment.

What's Needed?

  • High School Degree or General Education Diploma (GED).
  • Experience with computer applications including Internet, email, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without sponsorship.
