Position Summary:


To present prepared instructional technology lessons to Kindergarten through 6th grade students under the direction and guidance of the Director of Instructional Technology, using technology, demonstrations, and supervised hands on instruction.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Teach instructional technology lessons for grades K-6
  • Maintain and update computer lab as needed
  • Keep computers cleaned and running efficiently
  • Arrange the learning environment, including assembling and putting materials on bulletin boards and/or other classroom learning displays and in keep such displays current
  • Prepareย for classroom activities by distributing and collecting papers and other instructional materials for classroom instruction
  • Assistย students in completing classroom assignments, homework, and projects
  • Assureย student understanding of classroom rules and procedures
  • Implement lesson plans
  • Prepareย reports and documentation as needed
  • Performย a variety of clerical duties in support of classroom activities
  • Operateย and careย for instructional equipment and materials
  • Supervise students during non-instructional times, such as emergency drills, assemblies, cafeteria, restrooms, hallways, playground, etc...
  • Assureย the health and safety of students by following established practices and procedures
  • Maintainย the learning environment in a safe andย orderly manner
  • Present prepared instructional technology lessons
  • Adhere to all policies of the District
  • Performย other related tasks as assigned by the building administrator and other central office administrators, as designated by the Superintendent
