Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with patient admissions, including orientation to unit routines and equipment.
  • Respond promptly to patient needs, either through direct assistance or by notifying appropriate staff.
  • Support the nursing care plan by performing delegated patient care tasks.
  • Ensure patient safety through proper use of equipment and supplies.
  • Manage medication and supply retrieval as per unit protocols.
  • Participate actively in cost containment and accurate patient service charging.
  • Engage in educational and performance improvement activities.
  • Perform additional skills such as phlebotomy, 12-lead EKG, and waived lab testing based on unit competency.
Education and Certifications
