Description Under general supervision, assists faculty members with classroom/lab instruction, exams, record keeping, adherence to safety procedures, tracking attendance and other miscellaneous tasks related to instruction as assigned. Prior to class prepares classroom/lab in accordance to lab manuals and/or faculty members. Assist with facilitating lab activities.

Cleans classroom/lab in accordance to program policies. Example of Duties Ability to serve as a tutor or mentor students Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Proficient computer skill and ability to learn new computer programs Attention to detail and acuity Creative and innovative Adaptability and flexible Typical Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Active EMT or higher certification Active AHA BLS certification Ability to obtain AHA BLS Instructor certification within 12 months of hire date. Preferred Qualifications: Associates Degree or higher Active AHA BLS Instructor certification At least one EMS "specialty" instructor certification (ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, etc.) Level I Instructor certifications (either North Carolina or NAEMSE) 3-5 years EMS field experience Supplemental Information An ACC on-line application MUST be fully completed for consideration.
