Our team in Military Aircraft Group is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer with expertise in Multi-Axis Machining to join our high-performance team. You will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, NY.
As a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer, you'll play a critical role in transitioning operations into our next-generation Advanced Integrated Manufacturing (AIM) facility. If you're passionate about precision, thrive in a collaborative environment, and love solving complex challenges, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
As a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer, you will:
  • Create detailed operation sheets and NC programs to produce high-precision machined parts and sub-assemblies
  • Define manufacturing sequences, tooling, gauging, and machine requirements to streamline production
  • Work closely with engineering, quality, production, and vendors to resolve issues and enhance manufacturability
  • Be hands-on in the production environment, assisting with program prove-outs and troubleshooting
  • Recommend and implement process enhancements, tooling upgrades, and design modifications
  • Assist in estimating costs and timelines for new proposals and tooling development

To be considered for this role, here's what you'll typically bring with you:
  • A Bachelor's degree, or an Associate's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or a High School diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience
  • 3+ years of CNC programming experience using CAD/CAM software
  • Experience with Multi-Axis Machining
  • Strong knowledge of process engineering from raw material to finished product
  • Hands-on experience with machine setup and operation
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills to work effectively across departments

Salary Range Transparency:
