Work Location:ย Hazel Park, MI

This is a full-time position responsible for operating and maintaining automated logistics and production systems specialized for the battery manufacturing process. The role includes designing and updating logistics processes, communicating with customers to capture new requirements, and ensuring that these processes are effectively reflected in the automated CIM system.

Job Description
  • Manage and maintain CIM systems for logistics automation
  • Review and update communication specifications between CIM and PLC
  • Monitor CIM operations and analyze equipment logs
  • Troubleshoot issues related to CIM and communication with PLC
  • Provide service and support by responding to customer inquiries and assisting with CIM-related issues
  • Collaborate with MES and MCS engineers to ensure smooth system integration across manufacturing processes
  • Support equipment interface development and validation to guarantee real-time communication between production equipment and higher-level systems
  • Participate in system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning to enhance stability and efficiency of CIM operations
  • Document technical issues, resolutions, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference
  • Assist in projects for smart factory initiatives, ensuring CIM is aligned with enterprise IT and manufacturing goals
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
