CSAT Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Imaging Technician. This position will require the candidate to have some knowledge of computer components.
Role and Responsibilities
  • Installs and configures new equipment, including operating software or peripheral equipment
  • Reinstalls software programs or adjust settings on existing software to fix machine malfunctions
  • Analyzes equipment performance and assess equipment functionality
  • Performs repairs on machines by debug troubleshooting, software testing, and conducting diagnostics
  • Repairs laptop or desktop units according to requirements, using hand or power tools and measuring devices
  • Supports and conducts Functional Testing on computers and or components
  • Evaluates and reports repeat returns to engineers and or management
  • Assists engineers with performing new product introduction test validation and process walkthrough
  • Learns and uses new processes and procedures
  • Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Education, Training and Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic familiarity with computer use required
  • Intermediate English abilities required
  • 1 year of assembly/disassembly experience preferred with Laptop, computer and/or technology component repair, preferred
  • Experience using hand power tools
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer hardware
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervision
  • Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies
  • Excellent time-management skills

Working Conditions and Essential Abilities & Functions
  • Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)
  • Lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
  • Push/pull up to 10 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, bending, and twisting
  • Occasional stooping or crouching
  • Use of small hand tools
