About the Role

The Principal Solutions Engineer will interface with customers to identify their needs and collaborate with various engineering and operation departments to ensure a plan is in motion to improve the customers experience. This position requires high-level thinking to architect solutions across a variety of hardware and a passion for focusing and committing.

You also excel at dealing with the complexities associated with large enterprise customers.


What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to understand customer requirements and design tailored satellite communication solutions.
  • Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to determine the best solutions for new customers
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of Quvia systems across different business verticals.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues during the POC phase and work with customer, QA and Engineering teams to deploy fixes as needed.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all solutions and services provided.
  • Act as a technical advisor to customers, offering guidance on best practices and optimal usage of terrestrial and satellite communication systems.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers and internal teams on the operation and maintenance of Quvia products and their value proposition.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in Quvia systems.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, systems, engineering, QA, and service delivery, to ensure successful project execution.


What Youll Need

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 8 to 10 years of experience in satellite and terrestrial communications, with a focus on multi-link architecture.
  • At least 8 to 10 years of previous experience with networking concepts and RF engineering.
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of managing virtual infrastructure using VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or KVM.
  • Experience with Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) and SD-WAN platforms such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco (Meraki/Viptela), or similar enterprise solutions.
  • Satellite communication (SATCOM) systems knowledge and experience is a plus.
  • A thorough understanding of computer hardware, and operating systems.
  • Experience with automating workflows to support demos and any other ad-hoc activity during POCs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project management experience and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
