Day Shift Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm


PTO upon hire, Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits are offered on the first day of the next month after hire, 401(K) after 6 months


Job Summary: 


Installs, configures and troubleshoots computer hardware, software and peripheral devices to ensure optimal performance for team members. Acts as the primary point of contact once a ticket is entered and assigned. 


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • To provide both technical and administrative support to ensure functionality and efficiency of computer and telecom systems.
  • Assist with basic end user training for computers in Keel MW Region.
  • Set up new user computer hardware & desk phones, sometimes assist with mobile phones if needed.
  • Act as link between end users and higher-level support and vendors. Sometimes changes must be done during off hours and/or Sunday Maintenance window.
  • Establishes and maintains an updated and accurate inventory listing of all company computers, software licenses, and other technical assets.
  • Ticket Management and closure using Service Level Agreements (SLA)
  • Observes and reports equipment performance deficiencies, coordinates repairs, and suggests replacements as needed.
  • Imaging & deployment of new computers and assists with software upgrades.
  • Prepares/performs various administrative reports/activities when asked.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Travel Requirements: 


Travel between MW sites will be needed


Physical Requirements: 


May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly.

Lift up to 50 lbs


Work Environment: 


Exposure is frequent to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles - eye protection is required, and fumes, machine vibration, and noisy conditions, high temperatures, and occasional to a restricted space work area. All Keel locations are tobacco free where appropriate.

Requirements

  • Technical Knowledge of windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory and remote support.
  • Perform duties with little to no supervision.
  • Resolve tickets in a timely manner and/or escalate as needed.
  • Assist Support Desk & higher level engineers with testing.
  • Assist with Desktop imaging, patching, firmware & bios updates.
  • Ability to perform installation and service of low voltage cabling for small jobs.
  • Occasional afterhours, evenings and weekend work required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Effective communication and teamwork.
  • Writes clear documentation. 
  • Focus on improving efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Requires a minimum of 2 years of related IT experience
  • CompTIA A+ certification
  • Additional certifications (Network+, Security+, etc.) are a plus
