Job description

Position Title: Senior DevOps Engineer (TS Required) Location: Remote Duration: 6-12+ Months Pay Rate: $75 - $90/Hr on W2 Overview: Balance several roles in the development process, including computer coding, testing and deployment. Must also possess the communication and management skills needed to work with multiple teams and continually working on updating sections of code, testing the updated sections and deploying them. Support of development and implementation of technology strategies for DevSecOps automation, including nurture consensus and working relationships with technical teams on a regular basis. Collaborating with other technical teams in the exchange and transfer of technical knowledge and in the development and evolution of automation development standards, guidelines, and reference documentation. Responsibilities: - Integrates DevSecOps tools as part of an agile team to achieve Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) applications. - Represents the DevOps team for consistent messaging across all phases of complex development projects - including dependencies and blockers - Builds CI/CD solutions for large enterprises at an Individual Contributor level. - Documents designs and changes to environments in Jira and/or Confluence as a record and to communicate information to other team members. - Works on cross functional self-organizing teams as needed to collaborate in solving IT issues or implementing solutions to program requirements. - Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding all aspects of CICD and system. Qualifications and Skills - Experience in code development in at least one high-level programming language including, but not limited to Python, Java and Ruby - Minimum of 10 years' experience in IT industry as DevOps Engineer/Architect with Development Operations (DevOps) - 5 years of experience with Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration technologies including Gitlab (and Gitlab Runners), Jenkins, Ansibile Concourse, CircleCI, etc. - 5 plus years of experience with Infrastructure as Code languages and frameworks such as Terraform - Experience with agile and lean philosophies. Knowledge and Skills - Proficient to expert in Gitlab - Knowledgeable about AWS infrastructure offerings - especially containerization - Knowledgeable about AWS service offerings. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to effectively communicate technical information to managers Education - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent Mandatory Certifications - AWS Certified Solution Architect or AWS DevOps Engineer - Comp TIA Sec+ Clearance: Top Secret
