Assistant Nutrition

Assistant Nutrition is responsible for accurate, expeditious and courteous procession of inpatient food and nutrition needs. Including assisting patient tray line assembly, meal tray distribution, menu and snack selection, distribution, and correction. Cashier function (secondary) Responsible for checking customers through the cash register and maintaining accurate money control. Ensures that customers are greeted and made to feel welcome in the Cafeteria.

Minimum Requirements

  • Floor to Waist Lift (Occasionally) miscellaneous lifting of food product and trays
  • Waist to Overhead lift (Occasionally) shelf stocking/unstocking
  • Grip (Frequently) Miscellaneous stocking, food prep, push, pull, etc.
  • Elevated Work (Occasionally) Stock shelves/pantry
  • Forward Bending in Sitting (Occasionally) menu prep/computer work
  • Forward Bending in Stand (Frequently) with food stacking, stocking, prep/transfer, etc.
