Job Title: Computer Operator - Intermediate (8872)
Work Location: Columbia, SC 100% Remote (Candidate must currently reside in South Carolina)
Contract Duration: 12 Months with possible extension
Hours Per Week: 38
Candidate location: Candidate must be a CURRENT SC resident. No relocation or nationwide candidates allowed.
Daily Responsibilities:
• Perform monthly billing data extraction from SolarWinds.
• Prepare, analyze, and transpose billing data using Microsoft Excel.
• Support automation of recurring billing and reporting tasks.
• Maintain and update the MITS Executive Dashboard and Power BI reports.
• Assist with asset management and inventory tracking activities.
• Document operational procedures and workflows; coordinate updates with the technical writer.
• Provide Tier 1 support for the BMC Footprints ticketing system.
• Assist the Footprints administrator with updates to forms, workspaces, FAQs, and system changes.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with Clemson staff and contracted consultants.
• Support internal teams with administrative and reporting requirements as directed.
Required Skills:
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel (queries, analytics, reporting, data manipulation).
• 2+ years of experience with Power BI (dashboards, reporting, visual analytics).
• 1+ year of experience with the BMC Footprints ticketing system.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and maintain attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Release Management.
• Experience with Change Management.
• Experience with Incident Management.
• Experience participating in software upgrades or environment enhancements.
• Exposure to healthcare IT, Medicaid systems, insurance IT, or eligibility systems (not required but beneficial).
Minimum Education:
• High School Diploma with 2+ years of relevant experience, or
• Bachelor's Degree in any field.
