Job description

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO, is hiring an Support Technician to join our Information Services team - someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve. 

Position Details 

  • Status: Full-time
  • Work Shift: Days
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

What Your Day Looks Like: CMH's Information Services Department provides continuous support to employees and customers of Citizens Memorial Hospital and Citizens Memorial Healthcare Foundation using information technology tools and processes.

As a Support Technician, you will be:  

  • Installing, configuring, and repairing workstations, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues with operating systems, network connectivity, and clinical applications
  • Responding to IT requests, and documenting solutions to maintain service
  • Creating, updating, and terminating user accounts while assigning appropriate permissions and securing system access
  • Ensuring all technical operations strictly comply with healthcare privacy regulations (such as HIPAA) to protect sensitive patient information

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework in computer systems, or extensive on-the-job training, strongly preferred

Skills: Strong working knowledge of Windows/macOS, Microsoft 365, and network troubleshooting

Licensure/Certification: CompTIA + preferred

Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and crawl to route cables and access under-desk equipment, and have the ability to work with small components, patching servers, and replacing hardware parts
