What you will be Doing:

  • Oversee Daily Operation and Maintenance of compressors and all equipment associated with compressor.
  • Function as the Primary point of contact between compressor rental/service companies and the production foreman/maintenance foreman.
  • Determine the cause of mechanical failures to identify ways to prevent future failures. This may include compressor performance, troubleshooting, and environmental concerns.
  • Support EH&S departments in ensuring compliance with Air Emissions permits.
  • Coordinate with operations staff for compressor adjustments for gas lift system and PM schedules.


Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; vocational training or certification in mechanical or instrumentation technology preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Compressor Mechanic or a similar role in the oil and gas industry, with a minimum of 5 years of experience working with compressor equipment and emissions control systems.
  • Strong knowledge of emission control equipment, including vapor recovery units, flares, combustion systems,
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, test equipment, and instrumentation for emissions testing, monitoring, and calibration.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations, hazardous area classifications, and permit-to-work systems applicable to compressor stations and facilities.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze data, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions to resolve mechanical and instrumentation problems.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a positive attitude and commitment to safety, quality, and compliance.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and clean abstract.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
  • Able to work a 10/4 schedule.
