Description:

Samco Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an experienced Compressor Valve Technician to support the disassembly, inspection, repair, assembly, and testing of reciprocating compressor components in a fast-paced aftermarket repair and manufacturing environment.


This position requires hands-on experience with compressor valves, packing cases, pistons, rods, and related compressor components. Candidates must be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while maintaining high quality standards.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble:

-Compressor valves

-Pressure and wiper packing cases

-Pistons and rod assemblies

-Other reciprocating compressor components

  • Perform โ€œas foundโ€ inspections and condition reports
  • Complete final inspection and quality documentation
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
  • Measure and verify dimensions and tolerances using:

-Micrometers

-Vernier calipers

-Height gauges

-Depth gauges

  • Operate shop equipment including:

-Lapping machines

-Bead blasters

-Valve testing equipment

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
  • Follow company quality and safety procedures

Qualifications
