Description

Position Summary:
The Compressor Technician will participate in the installation, maintenance, and inspection of compressed air and vacuum systems and associated processes in a heavy industrial, manufacturing facility.
 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Daily attendance at heavy industrial, manufacturing facility in RI;
  • Execute preventive maintenance procedures, daily checks, inspections;
  • Extensive troubleshooting of all site-wide compressed air and vacuum systems;
  • Analyzing problems and identify corrective measures;
  • Frequently checking blueprints;
  • Obtaining supplies and spare parts, understanding repair manuals and parts catalogs;
  • Review specifications, conduct site inspections, review system design and drawings;
  • Must maintain strict adherence to safety rules and quality;
  • Additional duties as directed by job site foreman, project manager, and supervisor.

  • Follow plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workers
  • Strict adherence to all safety rules and quality
