This position allows for flexible, remote work arrangements, meaning counselors can perform their duties from the comfort of their own homes while engaging with clients in a virtual setting. • Conduct engaging and insightful individual counseling sessions, focusing on the unique emotional and mental health needs of each client.
• Facilitate couple and family therapy sessions, employing effective communication strategies to help resolve conflicts and enhance interpersonal dynamics.
• Organize and lead group therapy sessions that promote peer support and shared learning experiences among participants.
• Develop tailored treatment plans for clients, incorporating evidence-based practices to achieve defined goals and measure progress effectively.
• Provide ongoing support and motivation to clients, utilizing a strengths-based approach to help them navigate through emotional or behavioral challenges.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation that adheres to ethical standards and practice guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
• Stay current with advancements in the counseling field by participating in professional development opportunities and integrating new knowledge into practice.

The clients served by Restorative Touch Counseling Center come from diverse backgrounds and present a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. Counselors will work with individuals, couples, and families, providing a safe space for clients to express their feelings and embark on a journey toward healing and resilience.

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport and trust in a remote setting.
• Strong commitment to working collaboratively within a team-oriented environment and contributing to collective client goals.
• Proficiency in employing culturally sensitive practices and engaging effectively with diverse populations.

• Previous experience in outpatient counseling settings, particularly in a virtual format, is highly desirable.
• Proof of successful client outcomes and feedback that reflects the effectiveness of psychotherapy methodologies.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems will be considered a plus.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload. Benefits include:
