STERILE COMPOUNDING PHARMACY TECH | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
  • Location: Hudson MA 01749 â€" 100% on-site
  • Payrate: $22.92/hr
  • Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday â€" Friday, 9:00 AM â€" 5:00 PM (Must stay until work is completed)
    • On-call rotation every 3rd weekend.

STERILE COMPOUNDING PHARMACY TECH | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Tech will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to prepare medications, maintain rigorous safety standards, and ensure timely delivery to patients. This role is strictly for sterile compounding professionals; candidates must have specific experience with IV medications and clean room protocols.
  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
STERILE COMPOUNDING PHARMACY TECH | RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Sterile Compounding: Prepare IV medications, including antibiotics and TPN, strictly adhering to USP 797 guidelines.
  • Clean Room Maintenance: Perform environmental monitoring and rigorous cleaning protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain stocks of clean room supplies, manage ordering, and assist in receiving and rotating incoming medications.
  • Pharmacy Support: Assist in prepackaging medications, data entry for reimbursement, and coordinating the accurate delivery of medication to customers.
  • Compliance: Take ownership of biannual employee compliance and ensure all equipment is calibrated and sanitized.
STERILE COMPOUNDING PHARMACY TECH | REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
  • Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
  • Licensed pharmacy tech in MA
  • Proven experience in a clean room environment specifically performing IV and sterile compounding required
  • Home Infusion experience preferred
  • Deep familiarity with USP 797 guidelines, compliance standards, and environmental monitoring.
  • Direct experience with Antibiotic and TPN compounding.
  • Ability to work the designated shift and participate in the required on-call weekend rotation.
